Staying Committed to Containing COVID-19 We are one of only three states in the country that has flattened our curve while reopening our economy. We have a lot to celebrate as our counties continue to move from the Yellow Phase to the Green Phase in our reopening plan. Our collective efforts to contain COVID-19 is paying off, but our work is far from over. When we move to the Green Phase, remember that it isn’t a return to how things were before. We must stay alert to keep the virus from resurging. Under every phase, we must: •tWear masks in public •tKeep our physical distance of six feet or more •tWash our hands frequently for at least 20 seconds •tClean and disinfect surfaces often •tLimit group gatherings and crowds Masks Are Mandatory Wearing a mask is an important part of keeping COVID-19 from spreading. Everyone must wear a mask. That includes workers and customers. Remember, my mask protects you and your mask protects me.

MERION AVE. LOT PARKING GRAND OPENING!

Starting on June 1, 2021, the Merion Ave. Parking Lot will be open for use by Borough Residents, and Businesses. This Parking Lot will hopefully help ease the parking challenges in the Borough Hall area of West Conshohocken! Please refer to the helpful guide to the Rules and Regulations for use for the rest of 2021.

  1. During 2021 West Conshohocken Borough will be conducting a pilot program regarding issuing parking permits for the Merion Ave. Parking Lot. There will be NO CHARGE for a parking permit in 2021! Starting in 2022 there will be a charge of $25.00 for parking permit.
  2. All Vehicles must have a permit to park in the Merion Ave. Parking Lot. In order to qualify for a parking permit, the owner of the vehicle must own or lease real property in West      Conshohocken Borough. One (1) parking permit may be issued for every dwelling unit in the Borough. Proof of residence must be established by deed, lease, or such other      documentation as shall be deemed acceptable to the Borough. Applications for a permit will be available at the West Conshohocken Borough Police Department, 1001 New DeHaven Street,    Monday through Friday from 9:30 AM until 3:30 PM.
  3. A Business that is licensed in West Conshohocken Borough will be able receive one (1) permit.
  4. Temporary parking permit/short term guest permit parking for use up to 14 days will be issued only to a parking permit holder. Temporary may not be used on a regular basis to provide parking for a person(s) residing in the area but not otherwise eligible for a parking permit. A residence is only allowed one temporary permit at a time. No Business will be eligible for a Temporary Parking/ Short Term Guest Parking Permit.
  5. A parking permit shall not guarantee or reserve a permit to park in the Merion Ave. Parking Lot. The parking spaces in the Merion Ave. Parking Lot are first come first serve basis.
  6. All vehicles parking in the Merion Ave. Parking Lot will be required to remove their vehicle every 72 hours for a period of 8 hours.
  7. The Borough will have the authority to revoke the parking permit of any permit holder found to be in violation for the rules for use of the Merion Ave. Parking Lot during 2021. This pilot program will be used to help determine how best to utilize the Merion Ave. Parking Lot moving forward.
