Single-Stream Recycling

What is Single Stream Recycling?

Single Stream Recycling means that you don’t have to separate your recyclables.  Instead place all of your recyclable materials, such as paper, cans, and bottles, in the same container, and take the container out to the curb.

This has many benefits.   Single stream recycling has been shown to increase household recycling by 25%.  This saves time by not having to separate recyclables. Recycling helps to lower the Borough’s trash bill and improves the environment.
