Weather Emergency Declared


Mayor Fournier, the Borough of West Conshohocken,  is declaring a weather emergency from Wednesday, 09-01-2021 through Thursday, 09-02-2021 8:00AM due to the remnants of Tropical Depression Ida which is expected to have significant rainfall and flooding across the area.

The heaviest rainfall is expected Wednesday into Wednesday night.  Excessive rainfall associated with Tropical Depression Storm IDA combined with pre-saturated conditions will likely result in considerable flash and river flooding, with anticipated damaging wind gusts.  Roadways may be impacted to flash flooding and we are asking motorist to heed all warning signs and not drive through closed highways.
